Cardiovascular

Strengthening the heart and lungs to work together in order to supply the body with ample, oxygenated, blood. I employ Interval Training techniques to help my clients achieve cardiovascular health.

Cardiovascular training is always relative to your present state of health. Which means that it should be appropriate for where you are at the moment. Anything that makes your heart work harder than it is accustomed to working and sustains varying levels of "stress" can be considered cardiovascular exercise. It is the body's increasing need for oxygen that causes the increase in heart rate and respiration. This kind of "stress" benefits the body and is needed on a regular basis for overall health, prevention and well-being. Forms that cardiovascular exercise takes might be: walking, jogging, biking, swimming, rowing, jumping rope, running stairs. And all of these things can be done at different levels of intensity to fit you now.
