Core Muscle

Our Core is our "Foundation". It is what holds us up, responds to our environment, and carries us through life. We start building this foundation from the moment we begin to wiggle around on the floor as infants. One of the most important developmental stages of our core muscle group happens when, as infants, we begin to crawl, cross-patterning. So many of the core muscle exercises that are used today, look very much like this infant stage of development. Doing these kinds of exercises, force stabilizing muscles deep inside us to strengthen synergistically.
