Renée lives what she teaches, listening every day to her own body for clues that will lead to appropriate movement and self-care. Vibrant health is
about prevention... and prevention is how we choose to live every day.
Prevention is the food we eat, it is the exercise we do, it is our personal
habits and it is our thoughts.

Variety of movement is essential.
Renée makes use of a gym for functional exercise training. Over the years,
she has developed a regular yoga and meditation practice at home which
draws from a multitude of experiences with various teachers and disciplines.

She also enjoys trail-running, which makes use of every aspect of the
functional training and meditation that she practices and of course, requires
being very much in the present moment.

Real food can only come from a nourished earth.
She believes that radiant health can not come without sound nutrition. If
you want to thrive, you must eat food that is full of life. Consequently, she
consumes and thrives on a nutrient-dense diet, based on animal and fish
products, bone-broth stocks, lacto-fermented vegetables and beverages, and seasonal vegetables. In order to provide herself with the best possible
nutrition, she purchases nearly all of her food from local farms year-round
and takes an active part in educating others about the vital role that local,
small farms play in our lives.
